Job Duties
- Assists management in monitoring day-to-day activities of team members
- Assigns responsibilities to team members before and throughout the shift
- Manages multiple priorities and acts quickly and effectively while maintaining self-composure
- Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
- Supports Store Manager in ordering, scheduling, payroll, and accounting
- Takes and fills customer orders, providing quality beverages, whole bean, and food products that meet all recipe and presentation standards
- Drives for result with ongoing promotions and achieving store goals
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team
- Executes store operations during scheduled shifts including opening and closing duties
- Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety
- Ensures cleanliness and smooth operation of the store and public restrooms
- Knows when to escalate situations for management intervention
- Completes other tasks based on business needs
