Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience
  • 2 or more years of previous restaurant, hospitality, or coffee experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
  • Availability for part-time work including both weekdays and weekends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to following operational policies and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assists management in monitoring day-to-day activities of team members
  • Assigns responsibilities to team members before and throughout the shift
  • Manages multiple priorities and acts quickly and effectively while maintaining self-composure
  • Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
  • Supports Store Manager in ordering, scheduling, payroll, and accounting
  • Takes and fills customer orders providing quality beverages and food products that meet recipe and presentation standards
  • Drives results with ongoing promotions and achieving store goals
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during high volume periods and sets positive example for the team
  • Executes store operations during scheduled shifts including opening and closing duties
  • Ensures cleanliness and smooth operation of the store including public restrooms
  • Knows when to escalate situations to management
  • Completes other tasks as assigned based on business needs
