Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalency required
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • hospitality industry experience preferred
  • ability to withstand work conditions in temperatures ranging from 0F to 100F
  • ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
  • ability to move 50 pounds for a distance of up to 10 feet
  • ability to balance and move up to 25 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet
  • flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • strong guest service skills
  • must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
  • effective communicator
  • team oriented and dependable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • college coursework or degree preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Delegate duties and fairly assign specific tasks to ensure team members are prepared for guests
  • contribute to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
  • follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
  • follow all Capriotti’s procedures and operational policies including cash handling, sanitation, and safety/security to ensure safety during each shift
  • assist with labor management costs
  • act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote company values and culture
  • demonstrate proficiency in all areas of shop operations to assist where needed
  • maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop, including dining room, restrooms, cold stations, grill, and prep areas
  • work as a team to prepare for each shift
  • manage time effectively while meeting all job responsibilities
  • maintain a positive work environment for team members and guests
  • greet guests to make them feel welcome and comfortable
  • prepare and role model all menu items according to company standards for quality, consistency, and timeliness
  • oversee food quality production for quality and standards
  • follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
  • maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
