Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • basic bookkeeping skills
  • familiarity with store equipment and systems

Job Duties

  • Open and close the store including cash handling and system start-ups
  • complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops
  • provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • hold store keys and manage deliveries including opening back door for vendors
  • register all related sales and maintain records of scanning errors, price verifications, and voids
  • assist with reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
  • develop and evaluate store displays including promotional and seasonal merchandise
  • maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper stock rotation
  • assist with outing program compliance and department pricing with accurate signage
  • assist with bookkeeping activities including cash reports and bill payments
  • assist with store maintenance and cleanliness
  • separate food items and ensure proper product placement
  • comply with state and local laws for regulated products
  • conduct bag checks for team members
  • comply with company policies and maintain respectful relationships
  • complete special assignments and training as requested
  • serve as liaison between management and team members
  • report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management
