Job Duties

  • Opens and closes the store including all required systems start-ups and cash handling
  • Responsible for opening back door for deliveries
  • Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers
  • Engages and assists customers, resolves customer issues, and models customer service best practices
  • Holds store keys and opens and closes store without management as necessary
  • Coaches team members in ordering process and receiving deliveries
  • Registers all sales accurately including scanning errors, price checks, and voids
  • Assists in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
  • Develops and completes display resets and revisions
  • Maintains accurate inventory counts and supports outdate program compliance
  • Manages basic department pricing and daily price changes with proper signage
  • Handles bookkeeping activities including cash reports and bill payments
  • Maintains store cleanliness, order, and maintenance requests
  • Separates food items appropriately and assists in stock rotation
  • Uses store systems and equipment proficiently
  • Assists at pharmacy window as needed
  • Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products
  • Conducts team member bag checks before leaving
  • Complies with company policies and maintains respectful coworker relations
  • Completes special assignments as directed
  • Attends training and completes learning modules
  • Serves as liaison between management and team members
  • Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management
