Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • manage daily banquet operations to ensure events are executed in accordance with beos, timelines, and brand standards
  • supervise, schedule, and train banquet associates in compliance with union agreements and policies
  • coordinate with sales, culinary, stewarding, and engineering to ensure event readiness and accuracy
  • manage staffing levels, labor productivity, and real-time operational adjustments
  • maintain a consistent, visible presence during events to ensure service standards are met
  • ensure compliance with service, safety, sanitation, and loss-prevention standards
  • provide oversight, review, and final accountability for banquet event check processing and posting
  • review posted event checks for accuracy and alignment with approved beos
  • communicate discrepancies, adjustments, or billing issues to sales and accounting in a timely manner
  • escalate operational or financial concerns to the banquet director as appropriate
  • work with banquet captains to ensure stewarding pull sheets are completed for every event
  • work with director of banquets to ensure accurate quarterly inventory of china, glass, and silver is completed
  • work with kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure food recovery program is in place and followed
  • ensure consistent pre-shift meetings take place and standardize the shift
  • perform other duties as assigned or operational needs require
