Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree typically required
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Ability to independently resolve workplace challenges
  • Demonstrated expertise in culinary subject matter
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or banquet kitchen
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor culinary staff
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and guests
  • Ability to create innovative and appealing banquet menus
  • Experience with kitchen management including budgeting and inventory control

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and team members with positivity and enthusiasm
  • Uphold Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards for safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead kitchen staff by motivating, training, and mentoring team members
  • Manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and food costs effectively
  • Develop banquet menus and design appealing food presentations for plating and buffets
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the team to reduce waste and optimize ingredient use
