Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience preparing food from scratch preferred
  • availability to work 11 am to 7 pm shifts
  • ability to work every other weekend
  • willingness to complete full training program
  • strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • prepare nutritious meals according to senior-specific menus
  • present and serve meals in a timely and appealing manner
  • clean kitchen and dining areas after meal service
  • store food and supplies safely and according to guidelines
  • adapt menu items as needed to meet residents' preferences and dietary needs
  • collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality food service
  • maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues
