Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of prior fine dining experience preferred
  • Must obtain TABC and Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work
  • Must be reliable and responsible
  • Ability to exhibit maturity in the workplace and have a cooperative attitude
  • Ability to remain on feet for entire shift
  • Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock
  • Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform all opening and closing duties required of this position
  • Monitor every guests' request
  • Knowledgeable of the beverage list and the cash register system procedures
  • Knowledgeable of the operational practices of the Garden Restaurant
  • Fill out liquor requisition forms properly
  • Conduct opening and closing liquor inventory
  • Maintain stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to insure product quality
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promoting and documenting drink orders
  • Mix, garnish, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest to maintain accountability of all beverages served
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
