Job Duties
- clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen and serving equipment using appropriate equipment
- sweep, mop, and sanitize floors of kitchen and related work areas according to prescribed standards
- empty waste baskets, trashcans, boxes, and containers
- assist in maintaining food inventories and food preparation as needed
- adhere to health and safety regulations when handling cleaning materials and equipment
- respond to work during university closures or emergency conditions as required
- cooperate with team members to ensure timely completion of sanitation tasks
