Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain required mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
- Ability to work an agreed upon standard schedule with flexibility for additional hours
- Must be insurable under company liability insurance policy
- Willingness and ability to travel to domestic facilities as needed
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks including handling objects less than 50 pounds
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to maintain required mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of regulatory compliance related to medical waste
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive activities such as walking long distances while pushing/pulling service carts
Job Duties
- Ensures waste types are properly segregated, regulatory shipment windows are met, proper container labeling is adhered to, good housekeeping is maintained, and accurate tracking logs are kept
- Travel between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various Sharps and Pharmaceutical Management Systems
- Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
- Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule
- Communicates duty status on a defined schedule
- Participates and cooperates in safety process, including following written procedures, attending required training and scheduled meetings
- Maintains a minimal amount of manifest errors
