Job Requirements

  • must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean company approved uniform at all times
  • must be able to operate cash register and make change correctly
  • strength demands medium work includes exerting approx 30 lbs several times per shift
  • walking and standing during a 6-8 hour shift
  • must be able to effectively card all guests who appear under the age of 30 for alcohol purchases
  • adherence to state law and company alcoholic beverage policies
  • adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean company approved uniform at all times
  • must be able to operate cash register and make change correctly
  • full liquor bartending preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • must be able to pass bar training and validation process
  • bartending school or 1 year similar experience preferred

Job Duties

  • read and understand all particulars of banquet bartending and party bartending including start times and beverage requirements
  • after function, remove inventory and all beverage equipment to proper storage
  • retrieve and store bar glassware to proper storage
  • possess a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks accurately
  • able to perform drink mixing quickly and without waste
  • observe guests quickly to respond to their needs and ensure total guest satisfaction
  • serving all bar items in a friendly and timely manner
  • follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests
  • follow all preferred procedures for handling of an intoxicated guest
  • stock and prepare garnishes for drinks
  • maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies
  • collect payment and operate register quickly and efficiently
  • balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift
