Job Requirements
- must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean company approved uniform at all times
- must be able to operate cash register and make change correctly
- strength demands medium work includes exerting approx 30 lbs several times per shift
- walking and standing during a 6-8 hour shift
- must be able to effectively card all guests who appear under the age of 30 for alcohol purchases
- adherence to state law and company alcoholic beverage policies
- adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean company approved uniform at all times
- must be able to operate cash register and make change correctly
- full liquor bartending preferred
- excellent communication skills
- must be able to pass bar training and validation process
- bartending school or 1 year similar experience preferred
Job Duties
- read and understand all particulars of banquet bartending and party bartending including start times and beverage requirements
- after function, remove inventory and all beverage equipment to proper storage
- retrieve and store bar glassware to proper storage
- possess a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks accurately
- able to perform drink mixing quickly and without waste
- observe guests quickly to respond to their needs and ensure total guest satisfaction
- serving all bar items in a friendly and timely manner
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests
- follow all preferred procedures for handling of an intoxicated guest
- stock and prepare garnishes for drinks
- maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies
- collect payment and operate register quickly and efficiently
- balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift
