Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years senior management experience in fine dining or service-oriented restaurant
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food and beverage operations
- proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications
- physical ability to exert 50 pounds of force, work in hot and cold environments, and stand or walk for extended periods
- compliance with Arizona State labor, health, and OSHA regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years senior manager or assistant general manager experience in a fine dining, service-oriented position
- strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized guest recommendations
- strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- availability to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, special events, and holidays
- deep knowledge of food and beverage industry
- excellent leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Execute and maintain quality and consistency of food and service with full adherence to standards to acquire and protect restaurant sales
- provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive, detailed, friendly, and courteous service
- understand the market and surrounding areas such as restaurants, businesses, and hotels
- regularly measure and evaluate service through company audits and guest/employee feedback
- maintain the highest level of safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness of the facility
- address repairs and maintenance promptly
- utilize basic computer applications and POS systems effectively
- drive all standards in day-to-day operations
- inspire, inspect, and inform restaurant personnel daily
- be a resource and leader to the management team for development and system management
- assist managers with work assignments
- develop hourly staff and conduct quarterly evaluations
- hire talented staff and manage terminations as necessary
- develop plans to continuously improve service levels
- collaborate on PR, marketing, and sales efforts
- confront poor performance while recognizing good performance
- maintain vendor rapport and manage ownership needs
- instill a culture of excellence and confidence with strong leadership
- implement efficient systems in staffing and processes
- comply with Arizona State labor, health, and OSHA standards
- manage financial responsibilities including sales tracking, labor, waste, breakage, and tip reporting
- process and submit payroll accurately
- coach use of waste sheets and labor proforma
- ensure adherence to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- work to meet or surpass P&L projections with efficiency and productivity
- take accountability for costs and budgets and assist other managers
