Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of general manager experience in fine dining
- availability for irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and special events
- strong food and beverage knowledge
- excellent customer service skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to manage staff and hold them accountable
- compliance with labor and safety standards
- capability to handle physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in hot and cold environments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of general manager experience in a service-oriented position within a fine dining restaurant

- knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
- ability to work irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Duties
- Execute and maintain quality and consistency of food and service with full adherence to standards
- provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive, detailed, friendly, and courteous service
- understand the market and surrounding areas including restaurants, businesses, and hotels
- regularly measure and evaluate service through company audits and leveraging guest and employee feedback
- maintain the highest level of safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness of facility
- oversee repairs and maintenance
- use basic computer applications and POS systems
- drive all standards in day-to-day operations
- inspire, inspect, and inform restaurant personnel daily
- develop management team to develop people and manage systems
- give managers meaningful and challenging work assignments
- conduct quarterly management evaluations
- develop hourly staff and conduct quarterly staff evaluations
- hire and terminate staff as needed
- develop continuous improvement plans for restaurant service levels
- lead and drive PR, marketing, and sales efforts
- confront poor performance and reward good performance
- maintain good rapport with vendors
- instill a culture of excellence and inspire confidence through strong leadership
- implement efficient and productive systems and processes
- ensure compliance with labor, health, and OSHA standards
- build culture of financial responsibility
- control cash, credit, and receipts with proper procedures
- develop and enforce waste and labor sheets
- approve and track all spending
- hold department managers accountable to budgets and costs
- seek better efficiency and productivity
