Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- prior sewing experience helpful
- experience with computerized point of sale system
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask
- ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- manual dexterity for garment handling and sewing
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- availability to work weekends
- adherence to dress code policy

Job Duties
- Welcome customers with enthusiasm and professionalism in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats
- manage customer flow using company systems to deliver five-star service
- meet all service pledges including preparation, greeting, meeting needs, and presence for customers
- provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously
- communicate the importance of alterations and promote alteration services
- maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness
- adhere to dress code policies
- escort customers to and from alterations appointments
- press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
- perform quality control inspections on all altered and pressed garments
- build long-term customer relationships
- support inventory management including special orders and pickups
- process transactions accurately at cash wrap
- seek assistance for unresolved customer issues
- maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- perform additional tasks assigned by store management
