Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum six months experience in setting and cleaning meeting room furniture and equipment
- Ability to physically perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and moving up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain certifications such as Bloodborne Pathogen training and CPR/First Aid
- Ability to use radios and follow safety protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to follow work orders and service standards
- Ability to maintain professional appearance in uniform
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months experience in setting up and cleaning meeting room furniture and equipment
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Current PIT certification preferred
- Ability to maintain Bloodborne Pathogen training and CPR/First Aid certification
- Capability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to safely operate powered and non-powered equipment
Job Duties
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in uniform with visible SCC identification
- Perform all duties as a team member in accordance with the Quality Service Plan to ensure successful operation of the SCC
- Accurately interpret room set drawings and physically set rooms or areas to required specifications
- Safely transport and use non-motorized and motorized equipment such as tables, chairs, risers, linens, mops, vacuum cleaners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and electrostatic sprayers
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of interior and exterior facility spaces including meeting rooms, exhibition halls, and restrooms using approved cleaning protocols
- Collect and dispose of refuse according to sustainability program
- Report all accidents or incidents promptly to supervisors and complete necessary paperwork
- Exercise proper care and storage of tools and equipment and assist in restocking supplies
- Respond to questions from visitors and clients and assist other departments adhering to SCC service standards
- Maintain certifications such as Bloodborne Pathogen course, CPR/First Aid, and if eligible, PIT certification
- Assist with snow, ice, and debris removal according to the Snow/Ice Removal Plan
- Use keys and two-way radios properly following SCC radio codes and FCC regulations
- Occasionally lead crews of other setup attendants during shifts when required
