Job Requirements
- Six months of experience in setting and cleaning meeting room furniture and equipment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to safely operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ability to follow safety protocols and quality service standards
- Maintain required certifications such as Bloodborne Pathogen and CPR/First Aid
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months of experience setting and cleaning meeting room furniture and equipment
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Current PIT certification (preferred)
- Ability to operate powered and non-powered equipment safely
- Ability to follow detailed setup instructions and maintain professional demeanor
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection protocols (GBAC preferred)
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance in uniform with visible SCC identification
- Perform all duties as a team member in accordance with the Quality Service Plan to ensure successful operations
- Accurately interpret room set drawings and set rooms/areas to requirements
- Safely transport and use non-motorized equipment including tables, chairs, risers, linens, and personal protective equipment
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance using GBAC protocol for cleaning and disinfection
- Operate powered equipment such as cordless drills, vacuum cleaners, forklifts, and electrostatic sprayers
- Collect and dispose of refuse in compliance with sustainability program
- Report accidents/incidents immediately and complete required paperwork
- Properly store and care for tools and equipment and keep storage areas clean
- Respond to questions from visitors and clients using SCC’s 5-Service Standards
- Maintain current Bloodborne Pathogen, CPR/First Aid certification, and if eligible, PIT certification
- Assist in snow, ice, and debris removal
- Use keys and two-way radios following proper codes and regulations
- Occasionally lead a crew of Setup Attendants during shifts
