Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service operational procedures as would normally be acquired through at least 2 months previous similar experience
- Ability to comply with federal, state, and local safety and health regulations
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, kneel, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work shifts as necessary based on business levels
- No travel required
- No direct supervisory responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service operational procedures
- At least 2 months of previous similar experience
- Ability to follow TPC Brand Standards and service procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Team player with attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform cleaning duties
Job Duties
- Pick up and distribute all clean dishes, silverware, and glassware from the appropriate storage areas to the appropriate service station
- Assist bartenders in keeping all ice stations in the dining room filled at all times
- Clean the floors in the dining room by sweeping, vacuuming, or mopping at least twice each shift or more as needed
- Serve and refill water and beverages to guests as needed
- Brew coffee, decaf and iced tea as needed
- Stock service station with supplies as requested
- Set up and break down buffets, banquet tables, chairs, head tables, display tables, theme decorations, and other equipment as requested per contract
- Ensure that service procedures are adhered to as outlined in the TPC Brand Standards
- Assist servers with table maintenance including pre-cleaning, crumbing, cleaning, resetting, and linen changes
- Keep breakdown stations clean at all times
- Set up and breakdown dining room tables, chairs, display tables and carts, theme decorations and other equipment according to reservations or special event Banquet Event Orders
- Attend pre-meal meetings as requested
- Greet all arriving guests at assigned stations in a pleasant manner and make them feel welcomed
- Complete daily assigned side work
- Operate within all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc.
- Understand and forward members and guest comments and complaints immediately to a supervisor
- Inform supervisors or management about guests who may be intoxicated and ensure intoxicated guests are not served
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
