Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years+ experience troubleshooting industrial or commercial mechanical systems
  • valid driver’s license with no major or frequent violations
  • ability to be on-call as needed after first 90 days
  • physical ability to perform hands-on work including lifting and kneeling
  • willingness to travel daily within 3-hour radius
  • maintain cost-efficient business travel practices

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years+ experience troubleshooting industrial or commercial mechanical systems
  • ability to read wiring schematics and diagrams
  • proficiency with Microsoft office and basic computer skills
  • knowledge of handheld computers and network bases
  • basic vibration troubleshooting
  • basic air quality system knowledge
  • advanced network systems installation (IMMC/ASC, X Series Automation)

Job Duties

  • install
  • troubleshoot
  • repair
  • maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors
  • utilize precision measuring tools for diagnostics
  • read and comprehend operations and parts manuals
  • perform preventative maintenance
  • communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • provide technical assistance on equipment start-ups and repairs
  • increase customer awareness of product benefits
  • collaborate with service coordinator for parts and supplies
  • assist and train apprentices and other technicians
