Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate automobiles with manual and automatic transmissions
  • ability to work scheduled Saturday shifts as assigned
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • basic computer knowledge
  • maintains professional appearance and neat work area

Job Duties

  • Basic facility maintenance such as cleaning service and customer areas
  • sweeps and mops technicians' stalls
  • ensures compliance with laws and regulations regarding paint, thinners, and hazardous materials
  • reports deviations to management
  • performs facility safety inspections as needed and directed
  • operates electronic diagnostic and scan tools
  • communicates with Service Advisors, Shop Foreman, Service Manager and other supervisors about service work status
  • works as a team member maintaining a high level of customer service
  • uses shop equipment
  • performs vehicle test drives with owner and team members to duplicate concerns
  • notifies management of any issues after test drives
  • inspects vehicle cleanliness post repair
  • operates automobiles with manual and automatic transmissions
  • works scheduled Saturday shifts as assigned
  • performs other duties as assigned
