Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of bar and restaurant management experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • full service restaurant knowledge including inventory control
  • availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending and traversing stairs frequently
  • ability to occasionally lift 25 to 50 pounds with assistance
  • ability to perform duties within typical theater noise and activity levels

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality or related field preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of bar and restaurant management experience required
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience required
  • full service background with restaurant knowledge including inventory control
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Assistant General Manager in interviewing and hiring hourly staff
  • provide on-the-job training and onboarding of new hires
  • assign work tasks and prepare weekly schedules through HotSchedules
  • ensure all shifts are covered
  • foster professional working relationships with team members and departments
  • provide direction, coaching and leadership for all employees
  • conduct daily pre-shift Take One meetings to deliver sales goals and promotions
  • audit sales staff performance and set daily and weekly goals
  • review sales numbers and adjust operations as necessary
  • manage In-Seat Dining process, auditorium sales, and guest experience
  • ensure facility cleanliness, safety and proper operation
  • perform daily opening, mid, and closing operation duties
  • assist General Manager with reports, scheduling, and analytics
  • prepare and support special and private events
  • practice proactive guest management to resolve issues and ensure positive experiences
  • communicate regularly with General Manager and HR regarding employee issues
  • partner with Regional Projectionist on film ingestion and system issues
  • attend meetings and training
  • assist with in-seat dining and auditorium sales management process
  • other duties as assigned
