Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of previous restaurant experience
  • management experience preferred
  • successful completion of corporate training program
  • ServSafe certification or passing score on ServSafe exam
  • strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage and resolve customer complaints diplomatically
  • proficiency in scheduling and staff management
  • ability to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • physical ability to traverse the restaurant, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • successful completion of corporate's 6-week training program
  • passing score on the ServSafe exam or valid ServSafe certification
  • strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • excellent time management skills
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
  • proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Job Duties

  • Hires and trains FOH cafe staff
  • organizes and oversees FOH staff schedules
  • conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
  • handles progressive discipline of FOH employees in accordance with cafe policy
  • ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the cafe and dining experience
  • ensures compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards
  • ensures all pertinent staff members have a current sanitation and safety certification
  • handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner
  • ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations
  • manages inventory and purchases food and supplies when necessary
  • maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts
  • prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation as requested by General Manager
  • performs other duties and support functions as assigned
