Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising or related field
- demonstrate leadership experience managing store operations including profit and loss, safety, sanitation, staffing, disciplinary actions, training, leader development, performance appraisals, inventory and shrink control, sales promotion execution, and merchandising
- have professional written and verbal communication skills
- attention to detail and analytical thinking
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift 60 pounds between 15 and 70 inches occasionally heavier weights
- ability to push and pull racks weighing between 80 and 100 pounds
- ability to stand on hard surfaces continuously, walk up to 2 miles, reach vertically and transfer items horizontally
- ability to wear PPE including non-slip closed-toe shoes, long pants, and gloves
- experience using tools and equipment such as phone, computer, ovens, freezers, cutters, scales, mixers, box cutters, scanners, cash register, carts, and pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent, degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising or related field preferred
- demonstrate success leading total building operations with integrity including profit and loss, safety, sanitation, staffing, disciplinary actions, training, developing leaders, conducting performance appraisals, managing inventory and shrink, executing sales promotions, and merchandising
- possess professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- have attention to detail, analytical ability, and solution-focused decisiveness
- be proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping, accounting, time and attendance, and human resources software
- be flexible to work changing schedules based on business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling leadership behaviors aligned to Sprouts values
- consistently drive customer satisfaction by ensuring team members provide superior customer service throughout the store
- demonstrate product knowledge when assisting customers or working with team members
- listen to and resolve customer complaints in compliance with company standards
- champion the activity and results surrounding customer service surveys and portals
- communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members
- organize hiring events, interviews, and build candidate pipelines in partnership with the Region Talent Advisor Specialist
- responsible for hourly team member staffing, scheduling, training, and development including discipline and performance appraisals
- oversee front end operations, ensuring department records and cash handling comply with legal and company policies
- manage team member concerns and conflicts proactively
- facilitate career development conversations and support movement across the organization
- communicate sales promotion information to cashier team and ensure proper execution
- provide and receive constructive feedback for effective communication and collaboration
- execute company programs ensuring store profitability and customer satisfaction
- maintain department cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, facing, and rotating merchandise with attention to product codes
- verify accurate labeling and pricing on all products and oversee price changes
- communicate temperature failures and equipment issues to Store Manager
- confidently address emergencies, crises, and equipment failures
- flexible to perform other related duties as assigned
