Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience leading retail building operations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols
- Comfortable working with various tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated success leading total building operations including profit and loss, safety, sanitation, staffing, discipline, training, leader development, performance appraisals, meeting deadlines, inventory management, shrink control, sales promotion execution, and merchandising
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and solution-focused decisiveness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance, and human resource software
- Flexible to work varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items
- Skilled in pushing and pulling merchandise racks and carts
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces continuously, walk up to 2 miles, reach vertically and transfer items horizontally
- Familiar with personal protective equipment use and safety protocols
- Experience with tools and equipment such as phones, computers, ovens, freezers, meat and cheese cutters, grinders, scales, mixers, box cutters, scanners, cash registers, carts, and pallet jacks
Job Duties
- Positively shape the culture in the store by modeling leadership behaviors aligned to Sprouts values
- Consistently drive customer satisfaction by ensuring team members provide superior customer service throughout the store
- Demonstrate product knowledge when assisting customers and working with team members
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints in compliance with company standards
- Coordinate and execute team member appreciation programs such as Team Member Appreciation Week and Team Member of the Month
- Organize in-store hiring events, interviews and build candidate pipeline with Region Talent Advisor Specialist
- Responsible for hourly team member staffing, scheduling, training, development, discipline, and performance appraisals
- Celebrate store successes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee Administrative Coordinator, Head Cashiers, Cashiers, Courtesy Clerks, and In-Store Shoppers
- Lead front end operations ensuring cash handling and accounting comply with legal and company policies
- Manage team member concerns and conflicts through proactive communication
- Facilitate career development conversations and support internal movement
- Communicate sales promotion information to cashier team ensure proper execution
- Provide and receive constructive feedback and direction for effective communication and collaboration
- Accountable for proper posting of store signage
- Execute company programs to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized department and work areas
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment adhering to safety, health, and compliance regulations
- Assist with ordering, receiving, unloading, breaking down, stocking, facing, and rotating merchandise
- Help build and maintain compliant sales floor displays
- Verify accurate labeling and pricing on products and oversee price changes
- Communicate temperature failures to Store Manager
- Confidently address emergencies, crises, equipment failures, and resolve issues
- Flexible to perform other related duties as assigned
