- proven experience in restaurant management or related hospitality role
- excellent leadership and organizational skills
- strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
- ability to manage team performance and conflict resolution
- experience with staff training and development
- proficiency in scheduling and operations management
Job Duties
- Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
- providing or directing all Front of House training
- managing performance of Front of House employees including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
- enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- assisting with development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees through daily performance feedback
- reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending or hiring Front of House employees
- directing work schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after restaurant hours
- creating a fun and safe environment through contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
- understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
