Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong customer service orientation
- knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- ability to manage liquor inventory and cost control
- capacity to conduct interviews, hire, and onboard staff
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in restaurant management
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage and motivate a team
- knowledge of liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- strong organizational and time management skills
- experience with performance evaluations and employee coaching
- capability to enforce health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
- providing or directing all Front of House training
- managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
- enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- assisting with development of key employees and providing daily feedback
- reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring
- directing employee work, setting schedules, and assigning tasks
- creating a fun, safe environment by following core values and implementing contests and incentives
- understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
