Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- basic math skills for inventory and cost control
- physical stamina to stand and move during shifts
- valid work authorization
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management or service management
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage a team effectively
- knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- understanding of liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- experience in employee training and development
- excellent communication skills
- ability to enforce policies and procedures consistently
Job Duties
- Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
- providing or directing Front of House training
- managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
- enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- assisting with development of employees through daily feedback
- reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hiring of Front of House employees
- directing employee work schedules and task assignments
- creating a fun, safe work environment with contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
- understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
