Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • basic math skills for inventory and cost control
  • physical stamina to stand and move during shifts
  • valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or service management
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage a team effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • understanding of liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • experience in employee training and development
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to enforce policies and procedures consistently

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • providing or directing Front of House training
  • managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • assisting with development of employees through daily feedback
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hiring of Front of House employees
  • directing employee work schedules and task assignments
  • creating a fun, safe work environment with contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
  • understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
