Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive or RV service department is preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent communication and managerial skills
- Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to navigate occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Ability to withstand moderate noise levels in the work environment
- Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department
- Responsible to maintain all autos, golf carts, tractors, and all other machinery owned by the company
- Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service department
- Assisting in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service personnel
- Responsible for insuring OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times
- Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies
