Job Requirements

  • Love for the restaurant industry
  • Assist key employees to achieve their goals
  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Ensure that all teams within a unit are functioning well
  • Identify and develop future leaders
  • Partnership with Office Manager and General Manager in maintaining front of house staffing levels through job postings, recruitment, new hire orientation, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and maintain a fun and professional work environment
  • Develop and maintain standards of service, food and beverage
  • Develop and maintain educational programs for staff
  • Manage financials and budgets of the restaurant including labor cost, beverage costs, and expenses
  • Be a presence on the floor of the restaurant including host stand, wait times, greetings, table checks, table greets, bussing, running food, expediting food and drink, supporting the bar, and maintaining an upbeat floor energy
  • Quickly and professionally respond to all guest inquiries and complaints
  • Support Kitchen Leadership and Team
  • Oversee and maintain safety and sanitation standards including health inspection high scores
  • Literacy in computers and basic math
  • Strong skills of observation
  • Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Great oral and written communication
  • Exceptional follow-through skills

Job Duties

  • Constantly moves within the restaurant sales floor and kitchen
  • Frequently operates computers, phones, tablets and POS system
  • Occasionally positions self to clean under counters and inside equipment
  • Constantly communicates with staff and guests
  • Constantly monitors food and beverage quality for taste and visual presentation
  • Frequently moves products weighing up to 50lbs
  • Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
