Job Duties

  • Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner, free of debris and fluid leaks
  • Regularly check to ensure all vehicles in the parking lot are locked and secure
  • Assist in moving disabled vehicles within the service department
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot upon payment or cashier direction
  • Inspect vehicles and record any pre-existing damage on the repair order
  • Deliver keys and repair order copies to Group Leaders immediately after parking vehicles
  • Inspect vehicles for damage incurred during their stay and report to management
  • Keep service drive traffic flowing by parking vehicles in designated areas after service and inspection
  • Install and remove disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and ID tags
  • Wash vehicles before delivery to clients
  • Inspect and clean grease, stains, or debris from vehicles
  • Keep waste cans emptied and haul bulky waste to the dumpster
  • Shuttle clients to and from the dealership as needed
  • Report any safety or security concerns to management
  • Adhere to work schedules and arrive early to be productively engaged at start time
  • Comply with all safety rules and personal protective equipment use
  • Follow established dress code policy
  • Safeguard customer and dealer information according to policy
  • Exemplify organizational culture and hold others accountable
  • Complete all assigned tasks and other related duties as assigned
