Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in restaurant operations
- understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- knowledge of cash handling and banking procedures
- ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location
- physical ability to stand for prolonged periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
- have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- have knowledge of food safety and health department matters
- have familiarity with office paperwork
- have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
- have a high school diploma
- have restaurant experience
Job Duties
- Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
- help resolve food quality issues
- support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies are followed
- help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- develop and cross train all front of house crew
- assist with crew performance reviews
- develop future Service Leaders
- assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
- ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
- ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
