Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in restaurant operations
  • understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
  • knowledge of cash handling and banking procedures
  • ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • physical ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • have knowledge of food safety and health department matters
  • have familiarity with office paperwork
  • have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • have a high school diploma
  • have restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • help resolve food quality issues
  • support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies are followed
  • help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • develop and cross train all front of house crew
  • assist with crew performance reviews
  • develop future Service Leaders
  • assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
  • ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
  • ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
