Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to handle cash and follow cash handling procedures
  • Familiarity with office administrative tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the location
  • Ability to stand and work on feet during shift
  • Strong customer service skills

  • Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience

Job Duties

  • Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • Help resolve food quality issues
  • Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
  • Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Develop and cross train all front of house crew
  • Assist with crew performance reviews
  • Develop future service leaders
  • Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
  • Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order office supplies as necessary
  • Ensure proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
