Job Requirements

  • Have a high school diploma
  • Have restaurant experience
  • Have knowledge of food safety and health department matters
  • Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Have familiarity with office paperwork
  • Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and health department regulations
  • Experience with cash handling policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location
  • Familiarity with office administrative duties
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Ensuring safe and quality food preparation and service
  • Maintaining a clean and organized line with proper functioning equipment
  • Monitoring food safety standards including hand washing, glove changes, and temperature controls
  • Resolving food quality issues and customer incidents to maintain positive experiences
  • Supporting and overseeing crew schedules, breaks, and training
  • Assisting with crew performance reviews and developing future service leaders
  • Managing administrative tasks such as cash handling, banking, and office supply ordering
