Job Requirements

  • have a high school diploma
  • have restaurant experience
  • be able to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • have knowledge of food safety and health department matters
  • have familiarity with office paperwork
  • have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location

Job Duties

  • maintaining safe and quality food preparation and service
  • ensuring the restaurant crew is well trained and provides excellent customer service
  • keeping a clean and organized line with properly functioning equipment
  • monitoring food safety practices including hand washing, glove changes, and temperature control
  • resolving food quality and customer service issues
  • supporting crew scheduling, breaks, and shift meetings
  • assisting with crew performance reviews and leadership development
  • performing office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork
  • managing office equipment and supply orders
  • ensuring adequate inventory of restaurant supplies
