Job Duties

  • Integrate and assume responsibilities in any outlets striving to achieve excellence every day
  • Actively educate and train students through practical classes with fellow instructors transmitting knowledge, values, and professional aptitudes
  • Drive sales by recommending wine varieties to guests and supervising wine serving
  • Prepare and set up operations according to criteria
  • Follow ordering protocol
  • Control and preserve stock
  • Implement HACCP and product control in various sections
  • Assist in teaching according to syllabus for each group
  • Be innovative and consistent in quality control
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students and Instructors
  • Implement procedures of behavior and absences per requirements
  • Provide feedback and support to instructors concerning student evolvement
  • Create and update wine lists with the head sommelier and manager
  • Make recommendations on food and wine pairings
  • Ensure that the wine cellar is fully stocked
  • Inform guests on the variety of wines available
  • Organize wine tasting events
