Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in office administration, dispatching, customer service, or similar role
- Strong communication skills including phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a federal background check (HSPD-12)
- Experience in facility services, construction, maintenance, or dispatching trades preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS/NCMMS or other work order systems preferred
- Experience working in federal or high-security buildings preferred
- Bilingual ability in English/Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Receive service requests via phone, email, or walk-in and create work orders in the CMMS/NCMMS
- Dispatch HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and maintenance technicians based on priority and skill
- Track work order progress and update statuses in real time
- Monitor recurring PM schedules and coordinate technician assignments
- Follow up with technicians to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Greet visitors and coordinate check-ins in compliance with federal building rules
