Job Requirements

  • A valid Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) Food Handler Safety Training Card is required after 30 days of hire
  • availability to work a flexible schedule, including opening, mid-shift, and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to comply with all company policies, procedures, and performance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred 18 years of age or older
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • strong guest-service orientation and positive attitude
  • valid health card or equivalent required
  • ability to perform basic math calculations and understand units and measurements
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • ability to bend, lift, stoop, and perform physical tasks as needed
  • manual dexterity and hand coordination for efficient plate handling and service speed

Job Duties

  • Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
  • maintain uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
  • comply with all sanitation and safety procedures
  • maintain excellent attendance
  • arrive at least 10 minutes before scheduled shifts
  • limit shift swaps/replacements to no more than 5 percent of scheduled shifts
  • follow company time-off and illness reporting procedures
  • maintain a 0 percent no-call/no-show record
  • demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability
  • provide outstanding guest service
  • maintain a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 guests
  • accurately receive, confirm, and communicate guest orders to the kitchen with 100 percent accuracy
  • demonstrate complete knowledge of menu items and specials
  • check food quality
  • apply appropriate garnishes
  • expedite orders to guests within 1 minute of receiving items
  • maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation
  • follow proper receiving and storage procedures with 100 percent accuracy
  • perform assigned side work accurately and efficiently
  • complete all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100 percent accuracy
  • support a positive team environment by assisting fellow team members as needed
