Job Description

North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) is a prominent nonprofit organization committed to promoting opportunities and supporting choices for individuals with developmental disabilities. As one of the 21 regional centers across California, NBRC serves the Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties, advocating for and coordinating comprehensive services for over 12,000 children and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in a related field
  • minimum education requirement not waived
  • three years' experience with developmental disabilities
  • ability to work face-to-face with clients, families, and community
  • reside within commutable distance to NBRC office and clients
  • willingness to perform in-person work
  • bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, special education, nursing, or related field
  • three years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • master's degree preferred
  • bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred

Job Duties

  • manage delivery of services to regional center clients
  • use person-centered planning to assist clients in accessing public and private resources
  • monitor vendor services to ensure compliance with purchase of service authorizations
  • evaluate effectiveness of clients' Individual Program Plans
  • ensure appropriate community resources are available to clients
  • conduct annual reassessments of clients' developmental status with interdisciplinary team
  • perform client assessments as needed
