Job Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Prior BDC experience helpful but not required
  • Automotive experience helpful but not required
  • Able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws
  • 18 plus years of age to comply with company driving policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to use computer software and phone systems proficiently
  • Prior BDC experience helpful but not required
  • Automotive industry experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Job Duties

  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails
  • Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for service, and gauge customer satisfaction
  • Answer customer internet inquiries by both email and phone
  • Schedule service appointments and reschedule no show customers
  • Contact customers based on current marketing incentives
  • Follow up with existing and potential customers
  • Follow up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership
  • Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Service Director
