Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a receptionist or cashier role preferred
  • proficiency in computer use and telephone systems
  • ability to handle cash and perform accurate payment processing
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies
  • adherence to dress code and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message
  • greet all showroom guests promptly and determine the nature of their visit
  • direct guest to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and make the proper introduction
  • communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • enter data into computer system and run necessary reports
  • take payment in the form of cash, credit, and check to be applied to parts and service invoices
  • perform closing procedures and reconcile payments to cashier reports
