Must be 18 years or older
basic math skills
proficiency in English
physical ability to stand and walk for entire shift
capability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
strong communication skills
ability to handle multiple transactions quickly
punctuality and adherence to attendance policies

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older to operate register independently
ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently
ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
ability to stand and walk for the full shift duration
ability to bend, twist, reach, and lift regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
ability to interact with customers professionally and friendly
ability to manage multiple transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment
ability to work cooperatively and follow attendance policies

Job Duties

Conduct customer transactions with accuracy and effectiveness
furnish appropriate alterations and proof of purchase for all acquired items
have a good grasp of product prices and their store locations
greet guests and offer efficient, friendly service and assistance
advocate for customer engagement with charitable programs and promotions
package customer orders safely and efficiently using reusable or paper/plastic bags
maintain a clean and organized front-end area, including registers, conveyor belts, and floor space
follow safety measures for cash handling and register use
comply with corporate rules for register operations, returns, cancellations, and overrides
report equipment, pricing, or customer issues promptly
aid in replenishing grab-and-go selections and front-of-house marketing displays
collaborate with front-end and other teams to meet customer needs
be present at checkout for the entire scheduled shift
be punctual and follow attendance policies
be available for extended work hours as required
perform other assigned tasks
