Job Requirements
- 1-2 years experience working in a bar/bartender setting
- Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar operations
- Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and make decisions with little guidance
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, some holidays, and all Atlanta Hawks home games during the season
- Ability to stand and move extensively throughout the venue
- Must adhere to all liquor laws and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Ability to build rapport and work well with others
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Set up assigned bars
- requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- Take and/or process orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- practice prudent portion control
- Check guests at the bar for proper identification
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
- demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
- Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
- Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops

- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards

- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
