Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant environment
  • fluency in English
  • fluency in Spanish
  • ability to work day and night shifts
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • adherence to safety and compliance regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology techniques
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to multitask such as serving multiple customers and managing orders simultaneously
  • knowledge of safety regulations such as TIPS and ServSafe
  • fluency in English
  • fluency in Spanish
  • prior experience of 2 years in a restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • Mixing cocktails
  • pouring beer/wine
  • serving beverages directly to customers or through service staff
  • welcoming guests
  • offering menus
  • answering questions about ingredients
  • making recommendations
  • building rapport
  • stocking bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, and mixers
  • preparing garnishes
  • cleaning glasses and tools
  • keeping the bar area hygienic
  • verifying legal age by checking IDs
  • monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication
  • using POS systems to process cash and credit card transactions
  • managing tabs
  • handling tips
  • creating or updating cocktail menus
  • recommending new beverages
