Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No felony, theft, or stealing convictions
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background investigation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Ability to pass cash handling training
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work evenings, graveyards, holidays, weekends, and irregular shifts
  • Ability to work in a high noise environment with exposure to second-hand smoke
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under stress

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Recent experience as a bartender or six months completion of TOGE Bar Back position
  • Knowledge of bartending and bar maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling
  • Ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in Basic English
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and motivated personality

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide knowledgeable and safe drink service
  • Maintain efficient and courteous beverage operations
  • Ensure compliance with Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and TOGE alcohol controls
  • Train new team members and bar backs
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and sanitized
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) cash register and handle payments
  • Monitor guests to prevent intoxication and take appropriate actions
