  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred
  • Ability to work full-time hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and guests within CCE
  • Lead and assist with cleaning all tableware and kitchen equipment
  • Support dish room operations, including setup, organization and cleaning
  • Operate the dish machine, ensuring proper sorting of trays, glass, utensils, carts and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and care of kitchen equipment
  • Manage waste, emptying all trash, cardboard and recycling containers
  • Collaborate effectively with the dish team on a daily basis
  • Assist in the reorganization of all kitchen and event serviceware across the Center of Culinary Excellence to maintain efficiency and readiness for items to be used again
  • Assist with logistics, including loading/unloading trucks and breaking down carts
