Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of experience in guest service-related field
  • Two years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Two years of experience planning and executing events and training
  • Experience with HRIS reporting
  • Six months managing event budgets
  • One year of casino experience
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to obtain Class III Gaming License
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Ability to work without direct supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Four years of experience in a guest service-related field
  • Two years of experience in human resources or related field with emphasis on confidentiality
  • Two years of experience planning and executing company events and training
  • Experience with HRIS reporting
  • Six months managing event budgets and tracking expenses
  • One year of casino experience
  • Six months experience working with third party vendors
  • One year coordinating training and events with management and executive staff
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in public speaking, training, and facilitation
  • Excellent organizational, project prioritization, and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and passing typing assessment
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to obtain Class III Gaming License
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, human resources, or related field preferred
  • Certification in Red Wind’s Service First Program preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Advanced Adobe skills preferred
  • Experience with Paylocity LMS preferred

Job Duties

  • Delivers onsite training curriculum based on department and strategic needs as backup to the Trainer
  • Coordinates new hire orientation, guest service, core values, and other on-site trainings
  • Collaborates with Service & Training Manager, Human Resource Director, and Executive Team to implement and improve Customer Service Strategy
  • Utilizes group instruction, demonstrations, and effective electronic presentations
  • Assists in maintaining the casino’s learning management system
  • Maintains training records and calendar database
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and venues
  • Plans event details including venue, dining, entertainment, and prizes
  • Presents awards and acts as host for internal team member events
  • Coordinates team member events from start to finish and communicates progress
  • Produces and executes communication strategies to ensure informed team members
  • Develops, tracks, and reconciles event budgets
  • Conducts internal service surveys and reports results
  • Administers team member raffles and giveaways
  • Assists with planning and implementing team member and company events
  • Uses online reporting to facilitate recognition programs
  • Assists with event photography and videography
  • Creates and implements internal engagement surveys
  • Provides administrative support for internal committees
  • Assists with training lab set up and maintenance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
