Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years of experience in guest service-related field
- Two years of experience in human resources or related field
- Two years of experience planning and executing company events and training
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems reporting
- Six months managing event budgets and tracking expenses
- One year casino experience
- Six months working with third party vendors
- One year coordinating employee training and events with leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in public speaking, training, and facilitation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License

- Four years of experience in a guest service-related field
- Two years of experience in human resources or a related field with emphasis on confidentiality
- Two years of experience planning and executing company events and training
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems reporting
- Six months of experience managing event budgets and tracking expenses
- One year of casino experience
- Six months of experience working with third party vendors
- One year of experience coordinating employee training and events with management and executive staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in public speaking, training, and facilitation
- Excellent organizational, project prioritization, and time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute with minimal errors
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
Job Duties
- Delivers onsite training curriculum based on department and strategic needs as backup to the Trainer
- Coordinates new hire orientation, guest service, core values, and other on-site trainings for trainers, attendees, facilities, and food and beverage services as backup to the Trainer
- Collaborates with the Service and Training Manager, Human Resource Director, and Executive Team to implement and continuously improve the company Customer Service Strategy
- Utilizes group instruction, demonstrations, knowledge of adult learning styles, experiential learning techniques, design of learning activities, and effective electronic presentations
- Maintains casino’s learning management system in support of the company strategic and operational objectives as backup to the Trainer
- Maintains and updates training records and Training Calendar database
- Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and venues
- Plans event details including venue, dining, entertainment, prizes, and theme for quarterly events, annual banquet, and team member appreciation month
- Presents awards to team members and acts as host for internal team member events
- Coordinates team member events from start to finish, addresses potential problems, and communicates with the Incentive Committee and team members about events
- Manages event budgets, tracks expenses, and ensures cost-effective solutions
- Produces and executes communication strategies on behalf of the company to ensure informed and knowledgeable team members
- Assists in developing and delivering workforce training to enhance team member engagement and guest service initiatives
- Administers and reports on guest and team member software programs
- Conducts internal service surveys and reports on results
- Creates and implements internal engagement surveys and analyzes results
- Provides administrative support to internal committees
- Assists with setup and maintenance of training lab for internal and third-party training
- Performs other duties as assigned
