Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, can be substituted for prior service manager experience
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- 3+ years in a similar food service or events lead role required
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required upon hire
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and make decisions
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing standards
- Experience supervising event staff
Job Duties
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of events
- Participate in weekly banquet event order meetings with the catering team
- Maintain an adequate roster of servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Schedule and supervise event staff
- Ensure catering deliveries meet customer guidelines and event details
- Lead event set up, execution and breakdown with exceptional leadership
- Maintain catering supplies, equipment, and storage areas in proper order
- Follow cleaning and sanitizing procedures for kitchen and serving areas
- Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor
