The role of a CLEAR Sales and Service Representative, also known as an Ambassador, is pivotal to this mission. Ambassadors serve as the face of CLEAR, engaging directly with travelers and potential members at airports and other points of service. They are entrusted with both driving membership growth and delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism. This sales and service focused role requires someone dynamic who thrives in fast-paced environments, with excellent communication skills and a persistent drive to exceed sales targets. Ambassadors use tailored sales techniques to convert intrigued travelers into loyal members, clearly articulating the benefits of CLEAR's identity platform and membership services.
Beyond selling memberships, Ambassadors play a critical role in ensuring security and safety by adhering strictly to established protocols, such as verifying traveler identities and airline documents. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Open availability and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Completion of airport badging and government screening process including a drug test
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse traveler populations
- Energetic and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
Job Duties
- Drive membership sales by actively engaging with travelers and converting interactions into enrollments
- Deliver exceptional customer service creating positive experiences for travelers, members, and potential customers
- Follow all security and safety protocols including verifying traveler identification and airline documents
- Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets through proactive engagement and effective sales techniques
- Demonstrate adaptability by learning and selling a variety of products and services and pivoting between offerings based on customer needs
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with operational duties as needed to support smooth service delivery
