Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with appropriate class endorsements
  • Minimum of 1 year of delivery or box truck driving experience
  • Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents for at least 1 year
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles and material handling equipment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and occasionally more than 50 pounds
  • Availability to work full-time hours
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Safety 1st mentality
  • 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
  • 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
  • Clean MVR
  • Maintain a current driver's license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
  • Complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws
  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
  • Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
  • Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
  • Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
  • Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
  • Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
  • Maintain exceptional customer service based on our People Focused Values
  • Come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
  • Operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
  • Other duties as requested or needed
